How the New Black and Mobile App Works

Have you been wondering how the new Black and Mobile app works? Are you a first time user on Black and Mobile? Don't worry, this blog will tell you all you need to know about how navigate the app and place an order so you can get #theculturedelivered

The first step to using Black and Mobile is downloading our app! It is available on the App Store or Google Play Store. 

Once you download the app, you will be prompted to "Go Over The Basics" of the app. 

Be sure to go through the slides, enable the GPS and allow, then agree to the terms and conditions!

Once you're done, you will have to create an account or sign into your existing account to place an order.

 

After you create your account or log in, please make sure you allow notifications so you can be alerted with details about your order and promotions! You will then enter your address so we can calculate your distance from the restaurant! Please note that we only deliver within an 8 mile radius so if you see the last image that says “BAM is Not in Your Area” you can request that we come to your area. This helps us see the demand but doesn’t guarantee that we will expand. 

 

 

Now that we are past the registration part, it's time to eat! Browse through the selection of Black Owned Restaurants on the home page that are in your area.

 

You can also use the search bar to find a specific restaurant, or navigate through them by a category.

 Once you have found the restaurant you want to order from, tap it, browse their menu, choose your favorite food, and add it to the cart then checkout!

Once you get to checkout, please make sure you are entering the correct phone number and the correct address. A few users have errors with their Black and Mobile experience because they make the shipping address the same as the billing address. Note that if you change your delivery address at checkout, your order may not be processed.

 

We have a bunch of cool features on the app from managing your addresses, purchasing gift cards, contacting customer support via Facebook Messenger, and viewing and following our social accounts!

 

Now that you know how the app works, go test it out! Remember, when you support Black and Mobile, you are supporting multiple Black-Owned Businesses and you allow us to employ drivers in the community. Also, a Black-Owned Tech Company developed the entire system!
